In Touch tells us that Sandra Bullock has bought some undisclosed gift for her adopted son Louis Bardo Bullock to the tune of $50,000. These kinds of stories are meant to engender either awe or anger in the people standing in line at supermarket checkout stands, clutching their coupons for soap.

Mostly anger, I would imagine.
