I've said this before but it bears repeating. Angelina Jolie is really the number one topic in the supermarket rags over the past 14 months and Brad Pitt is number two. If both of them are mentioned in a headline, the story gets the BrAngelina label. If instead I gave them separate billing, Angelina would have well over 100 mentions and Brad would be near 90.
The reason for all these mentions is that any magazine can tell any story using these two. The Enquirer came out with a story not verified anywhere else yet that Angelina had emergency surgery. Now, OK!, the opposite end of the nasty to nice continuum from the Enquirer, says the couple is planning a wedding. I note that the headline did not say they were planning their own wedding, because they have been fairly adamant about the idea that they aren't going to marry.
