Reliable news sources reported on an armed intruder arrested at Paris Hilton's home late last month, and the Globe headline writers find a dramatic and only slightly hyperbolic way to state the case.

Of course, Paris was arrested with blow in Vegas just a few days later and all the sympathy the public felt was gone as fast as her music career.
