An anonymous commenter has told me that the phrase "country & western" is hopelessly out of date and anyone using it will be mercilessly mocked by those in the know. Boy, have I learned my lesson.
The National Examiner tells us about the hatred running deep concerning country & western stars Brooks and Dunn. Whether this refers to the hatred they feel for each other or the hatred I feel towards their weak attempts to rip off Western swing innovator Bob Wills, the headline isn't clear.
