It has been said that when the end of the world comes, the only things that will remain are cockroaches and Cher.* If the National Examiner is correct, the cockroaches will have to find someone else to sing at their parties.
Cher may actually have some health issues, but I haven't heard it from a reputable news source. When the supermarket rags tell us about Dennis Hopper and Elizabeth Edwards, they are repeating stuff already reported in newspapers and magazines that check facts and get statements from the people involved. Until I see the story someplace real, it's all jibber-jabber, as the great philosopher Mr. T is fond of saying.
