Here's a first! OK!, the nicest of the supermarket gossip sheets by a long distance, has a nominee for Meanest Story of the Week!
There were several stories about the wedding of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden last week and a few more this week, all of them saying the wedding went well except for one. Some disgruntled "friends" of Ms. Richie refused to attend and OK! says the ceremony was a "disaster".
This kind of story, sometimes referred to as "peeing in the punch bowl", is fairly common for the dogs in the AMI kennel, but it was a real surprise to see this kind of story in OK!, a magazine that will print positive stories about Kate Gosselin, for pity's sake.
