Bells Are Ringing Alert™:Double wedding for Britney and Jamie Lynn

Last week, OK! magazine had Jamie Lynn Spears back together with her baby daddy Casey Aldridge. This week, the headlines trumpet there will be a double wedding, Jamie Lynn and Casey walking down the aisle as the opening act, with big sister Britney tying the knot with Jason Trawick as the headliner.

The story has already been denied by publicists.

This story is very typical of OK!, far and away the nicest of the supermarket rags. They tell positive stories about people getting married and having babies and the like, but the stuff is complete fabrication, like their several weeks of trumpeting that Jennifer Aniston was having a baby when all she was doing was publicity for a movie where her character had a baby. It's almost as if OK! is aiming for a demographic that can't tell fantasy from reality.

The second most famous teen mom of the decade, Jamie Lynn Spears, has decided to follow the lead of Bristol Palin and hook up with her original baby daddy. According to OK!, she's back with Casey Aldridge, the young man she broke up with back in February for the love of a more mature and responsible man.

Well, let's say the other guy was older, which made him more mature. There are conflicting stories as to whether he was responsible or not.

Here's hoping Jamie Lynn had better luck than Bristol.

The first story this Fat Tuesday is cooked up Southern style. Star magazine wants us to know that Jamie Lynn Spears' new boyfriend has a reputation in their neck of the woods as a heartbreaker.

Can we believe this? Has there ever been an example in the history of dating of a 28 year old man showing interest in an 18 year old girl for any reasons that weren't honorable?

Sheesh. Sometimes the tabloids are just so dirty minded.

Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn, the second most famous teenage mama in the United States, broke up with the father of her child Casey Aldridge, seen here wearing the baseball cap all fathers of bastards are contractually obligated to have this century.

According to the website, Jamie Lynn has traded up and is dating 28 year old local businessman James Watson. Ms. Spears is 18 and living in Mississippi, so she has been over the age of consent for what, five years now?

In that neighborhood, I think "businessman" is code for anyone who doesn't live in a trailer park. Heck, Mr. Watson might even own the damned trailer park!

Think anybody in this story knows that her new proud squire has the same name as the guy who discovered the molecular structure of DNA? Yeah, me neither.
