Gary Coleman has died from a brain hemorrhage at the age of 42. The National Enquirer first published a story this year about his serious health situation in early February.

The tabloids now have one correct prediction for the year, coming on the 148th day of the year. There are still 33 people who they have marked for imminent death this year who are still with us.

Radar Online reports that Halle Berry and her boyfriend of five years, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, have decided to separate. They have a child together, two year old Nalha.

Berry has been married twice and has said she has no plans to marry again.

While Halle Berry is clearly a low flying angel, I have to say this guy is almost as good looking as she is.

It's Ash Wednesday, and as it so happens, all the stories I've avoided telling in earlier updates are at the very least unpleasant and in many cases downright tragic. I didn't start the week planning on this day being such a downer, but it certainly turned out that way.

According to Radar, an online gossip rag, Charlie Sheen's estranged wife Brooke Mueller has checked into rehab (again), this time trying to break an addiction to crack.

If you want to try to put a positive spin on this, at least she is trying to get her life back together. Many other stories today have no pleasant angle.

Don't say I didn't warn you.
