Damn You Skinny (or Fat) Alert™: Best and worst celebrity diets, March 2011
Publication: National EnquirerDate: 28 March 2011
I'm being a little dishonest using this picture to illustrate the Flagship's most recent foray into good and bad celebrity bodies. This picture is supposed to represent an attractive young woman on a diet that works. The Enquirer is also dishonest in their headline, because there is no "best" on the list this week. Everyone is either too fat, scary skinny of over-exercises.
Too fat: Gabourney Sibide (350 lbs.), Jessica Simpson (packs on 25 pounds)
Too skinny: Tara Reid (bag of bones), Gwyneth Paltrow (about 100 lbs.)
Arms too well defined: Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker
This is in keeping with the general concept that the National Enquirer doesn't like anybody.

Damn You Skinny Alert™:Planted crap about the new Sex and the City movie
Publications: In Touch, OK!
Date: 24 May 2010
Two stories are planted as though they were real gossip about a movie that is about to come out. Sex and the City 2 will be in the theaters soon, and I just can't wait!
For all the copies to be brought into a single location and melted into guitar picks.
Supposedly, there were cat fights and plastic surgery and Sarah Jessica Parker nearly walked off the set! Permutations of these stories show up in the covers of OK! and In Touch.
Once again, let me reiterate how much I don't care.
I don't care so much, I didn't even include a picture with this story. That is a mighty mountain of "I don't care" when it comes to this blog.
I have created a new label "Planted Crap" for this post, but there has certainly been Planted Crap before this story, like the Gerard Butler-Jennifer Aniston romance to hype their not very successful movie. If I have time, I will go back and amend old posts with the new label.
Because I do care about something. Just not this movie and the planted stories associated with it.

Damn You Skinny Alert™:Sarah Jessica Parker weighs 96 pounds

Publication: Star
Date: 26 Apr. 2010
Sarah Jessica Parker gets a cover story on one of The Only Ten Magazines That Matter for the first time in 2010, and it isn't good news. She gets a Damn You Skinny Alert™ not for looking good, but instead for being dangerously underweight at 96 pounds. Searching around the Internets, there is some disagreement as to her height, which is listed between 5'2" and 5'4", so she's on the short side of average. 96 pounds would put her somewhere between 12 to 18 pounds less than the accepted healthy weight for her height.
