Fussin' and Feudin' Alert™: Four views of the troubles in the Cyrus family

It's not unusual for multiple gossip rags to use the same topic to tell different stories in the same week. It is unusual when two of those magazines are People, the most respected and successful supermarket checkout magazine, and the low rent Examiner. This week's most repeated story is about the troubles between Billy Ray Cyrus and his headstrong daughter Miley, seen above in happier if creepier times. Here are the headlines.

The most interesting contrast in the bunch is that only Us Weekly is willing to say Billy Ray deserves some blame for this mess, an opinion I share.

The Star, generally a bringer of bad news about celebrities, tells us that Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife have reconciled, and they add the secondary headline that their daughter Miley is thrilled.

This should help Miley's personal life from becoming a train wreck, but that train is already moving pretty darn fast.
