Stefanie Powers lung cancer battle

The low rent Examiner re-hashes a story the Globe told in May. Stephanie Powers, who at one time seriously rocked the Big Hair of the 1970's and 1980's, has lung cancer. The headline did not use any word akin to "deadly" or "dying", so this is not a Brave Last Days Alert.

Fresh trash on Thursdays! The Globe is definitely going for the Hey Old Timer gossip crowd. Robert Wagner, who will turn 80 this year, had a skin cancer removed from his face. Stefanie Powers, twelve years his junior, had part of her lung removed, which sounds more serious. The cover story does not make any statement of "fighting for life" or "brave last days", so neither Wagner or Powers go onto the watch lists.
