On The Rocks Alert: Elizabeth Edwards attempts suicide

Publication: National Enquirer
Date: 8 Feb. 2010

Here is the difference between The Flagship (Enquirer) and The Gold Standard (People) in a nutshell.

People talked to Elizabeth Edwards and confirmed that she was separating from her scumbag husband John. The Enquirer talked to some source that says she tried to commit suicide.

This is why I will never completely trust the Enquirer. They always try to cast the worst possible light on a story, so no one is going to answer charges brought against them in this rag. Recall that Britney Spears was supposed to be in the nuthouse as of two weeks ago, but she was seen at the Grammys last night. Either it was a really short stay or a clinic with a very relaxed release policy or the Enquirer was just making up crap.

We report, you decide.

On The Rocks Alert: More BrAngelina Mishegas.

Publication: In Touch
Date: 8 Feb. 2010

There are several people who got at least two mentions on the tabloid covers this week, but BrAngelina and That Hussy Jennifer Aniston are the big winners. Nine of the tabloids had celebrity stories on the covers, and six of those were talking about these people.

The juicy details that In Touch is touting is that Jen has met Brad's kids and BrAngelina are releasing "fake" stories that everything is fine.

Tomorrow: the "fake" story.

Enboobening Alert™: Heidi Montag feels like Hell.

Publication: Weekly Life & Style
Date: 8 Feb. 2010

According to Weekly Life & Style, Heidi Montag's new face is frozen, her new huge boobs are like balloons and she is still swollen and in a lot of pain.

The frozen face is hardly news, since she went on some TV show and was interviewed. She was asked to smile and that look you see in the picture was the closest she got.

As for the rest of the stuff, remember she decided on ten plastic surgeries in the same day. Even when a person is as young as she is, the body needs time to heal and given that many changes, her body has to work overtime figuring out which of the disfigurements it should try to recover from first.
