Missed deadline alert:Michael Douglas is still alive

The mangy dogs in the AMI kennel, including the somewhat independent cur the Star, were absolutely convinced that Michael Douglas would die from cancer and right soon. Three months ago, the Enquirer gave Douglas three months to live. These mags get this stuff wrong a lot, though they are always glad to take credit when they get one right, like Michael Jackson a few years back.

Missed deadline alert:Bill Clinton is still alive

Back last year, the Wicked Step Sisters had several health crisis posts about Bill Clinton after his hospitalization, several of which worried that he wouldn't live to see Chelsea's wedding. Back in late July, the Globe wrote he had six months to live. Those six months have come and gone, and it's been four months since there's been any mention of Clinton's health in the Three Wicked Step Sister tabloids. Heart disease is a very treatable condition these days if you have enough money.

The low rent Examiner gets another story right, and they give it a Hey Old Timer Gossip slant to keep their demographic interested. The headline reads "Jackie's granddaughter has a stalker!", because the name Tatianna Schlossberg just won't sell newspapers. They did not include a picture of young Tatianna, but they did have the name and photo of Naeem Ahmed, whose obviously Arabic name makes him even scarier. He has been in custody since early December awaiting psychiatric evaluation.

Casey Anthony will soon be on trial for the murder of her daughter Caylee, who went missing from her Orlando home about a month before she turned three back in 2008. The Globe says Casey is now suicidal.
