Country singer Chely Wright tells the world she is a lesbian this week. She seems to think that she is the first openly gay singer in Country & Western music, but me, being an old person with a memory and all, I seem to recall a sweet voiced Canadian girl named k.d. lang who let the world know how she felt about this sort of thing a long time ago.
