The low rent Examiner puts a verifably true story on their front cover the old fashioned way, by re-hashing a story already published elsewhere. Kim Novak, the gorgeous movie star whose career was at its peak when I was a wee lad, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The Examiner does not embellish this news with a "Brave Last Days" headline, which shows admirable restraint on their part.
Best wishes to Miss Novak, her family and friends, from a fan.
