Here's one of the miserable things about getting old. Perfect golden stars whom I lusted after when puberty was kicking my ass on a daily basis are now frail old ladies. The National Examiner reports that Anne Francis, who starred in the sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet in the 1950s and played the title role on the 1960s TV show Honey West, is battling cancer and is very ill. Sadly, a visit to Miss Francis' website confirms her health problems, as she is no longer able to answer fans' requests for personalized memorabilia.
