This is the thirteenth story this year involving Barack Obama this year on the cover of the tabloids, the vast majority of them in the Globe. By contrast, George W. Bush has only been mentioned five times and Bill Clinton seven times.
So some African American gay was murdered and the Globe is sure it's a cover-up. They have a picture of the dead man's mama on the cover and she wants answers.
Let us recall that the Clintons were accused of being the heads of a murderous drug cartel when they were in office, so crazy nasty stories about presidents aren't brand new with this Democratic president. Of course, being fair and balanced, people wrote stories about George W. Bush still being a drunk while president. I consider those nasty but not crazy. Falling down drunk is a lot more believable than choking on a pretzel, just to take one example.
This story wins the first poll for Meanest Story of the Week.
